FREE PALESTINE asked:
Hi there. I’m traveling from to Denver, I’m flying Southwest. Is there any chance my flight may be delayed due to the snow (if there is any) Is it snowing in Denver? How cold is it? Should I bring snow boots, or regular shoes, or both? I’ve lived in Cali my whole life, and have never seen snow, which is why I love cold weather, cuz I hardly ever get it. Is it easy to drive in Denver(getting from place to place, cuz it’s snowing) Will the people at Southwest give me grief? Let me just say, I’m a female, a Muslim, but I’m only 14, I wear a headscarf, will they do those “Random security Checks” on me, will they ask me to remove my headscarf? I’m gonna be traveling alone. I don’t celebrate Christmas, bu I’m on break right now, so I’m gonna visit my awesome relatives in Colorado. And i absolutely HATE public places, so I always carry some hand sanitizer with me, can I take it on the plane? I know it’s a lot of questions but Please answer, my flight is Sunday! Thank you and good night

It will be cold with a chance of some snow, but not enough to delay your flight no.
if it’s a small hand sanitizer you should be ok, and regarding the random checks, they are just that random so hard to say if they will stop you or not.
driving in denver will be fine, espcially if you have family here they already know how to drive in it if it does snow or icy. you should be ok with just shoes but boots could also be appropriate and not out of place.
weather on sunday will only be a high of 13 degrees so verrry chilly, but then monday should be high 20’s and rest of the week 30’s and above so nice weather compared to what we have been having.
Just take a trial size of Hand Santizer and be sure it is in a zip lock bag. Southwest will not give you any problems and I fly them a lot.
The previous post is correct about the weather, but I would still bring lots of warm clothes if you are not used to the cold/no humidity. It was -18 the other night and today is the first day above freezing, so the snow is melting. There isnt much on the ground though and only flurries are forecasted. However, they change the forecast A LOT during this time of year. First it was suppose to be -7 Saturday night and they just changed it to -2. (Like that really makes a difference…LOL!)
You’ll have a great time and the good thing about Denver is, it is sunny a lot!!! Not dreary in the winter like the east coast. The saying here is “If you dont like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it will change!” So true, so pack accordingly.
