How do I address a letter to someone in basic training at Fort Benning GA?

    They will send you his address. Some branches don’t send that stuff out until they are in A I T. You can’t just address it to FT. Benning it is a very big base and he could be in any of the buildings. I would suggest calling Ft Benning information center and they can tell you more.The reason I know is my husband done 10 yrs. And my son is in his 2nd year in the Navy. I hope this has been helpful. Also they will probably have a graduation ceremony they are really nice if you can make it.

    My husband is a Basic Training Company Commander at Fort Benning. Your soldier will find out his address during the fist week of basic training, then he will write you a letter to tell you how to address letters to him. Once you find out your soldiers unit ( it will be in his letter to you ) go to this website to see pictures of him training The day before graduation he will have a Turing Blue Ceremony where somebody special to him will pin on his Blue Cord of the Infantry. The Ceremony is pretty fun to watch and it means a lot to the soldiers when their family/friends/girlfriends come, so try to make it if you can.
