What are some good stores for boots/shoes in the houston metro area?

Boot Shoes
xoxia asked:

i’m looking for trendy, like a store that would carry John Fluevog. i’ve gone to Cavender’s and they had some non-western stuff but their size selection lacked. specifically, i’m looking for rugged but fashionable boots for work. i’m in houston but would be willing to drive to austin if there’s an awesome store there.

thanks!

Darling store right next to Houston’s restaurant off Westheimer and Fountainview. Prices are a little high, but great, unique fashions. Called Romancing The Range. Not too far from the Galleria.

For vintage variety, people come from all to get boots from
a place called the Texas Junk Shop. It’s been written up in several magazines. Only open from Thur-Sat.

Sites don’t appear to be working when I paste them here, so just google the names and they will come up.
