Anybody familar with Chicago’s “Denver Boot” that’s set up for motorist that have too many traffic tickets?

Denver Boot
Cheryl P asked:

If so, how does that work regarding the schedule (time of day)of when they come out and check up on your license plate to issue the “boot”? I wanted to compare it with the time someone else told me about it.

Yes, the boot is a device that immobilizes your vehicle so it can’t be driven. It’s removed when you pay your past due fines. They will apply it when and where they find your vehicle after you go on the list of those with outstanding tickets. There is no set time. They can also order it towed it they desire, and there is no set time for that either.
